great weekend! thanks to everybody who went down to paseo de todos, put on by the amazing people of paseo urbano de tijuana. a whole group of san diegans stormed the blue line from bikes del pueblo and the bike union, joined the ride, which is probably the most organized thing ive ever seen, and then promptly ate some tacos afterward.

saturday was a great day at the market as we guided a new volunteer through some of our most common problems, and it all ended sunday with the vegan mac n cheese bakeoff organized by linda and andres which raised over $100

vegan mac n cheese cook off benefit!

a group of friends have independently organized a benefit for bikes del pueblo. so mark your calendars! on may 8th from 11am to 4pm @ azalea park there will be a vegan mac and cheese bake off. drinks and desert will all be on sale by the fabulous linda, who is a professional baker for many local establishments such as sipz. spread the word!
