What's something you've always wanted to do but haven't gotten around to doing? Being a BdP volunteer!

BdP is currently looking to recruit new volunteers to help us share bike mechanics, accessibility and sustainability.
Our June and July build nights are geared toward getting new helpers equipped with a foundation of knowledge to help at our weekly bike kitchen. We will introduce you to the basic repairs we see on a regular basis when diagnosing and fixing bikes. Please message us for directions to our next build night.
No experience is necessary; all you need is a commitment to the wrenches and the BdP mission statement. Everybody is encouraged to join. Here is our schedule for June/July:
 June 18
 July 2
 July 16
 July 30
We encourage anybody who’s interested in BdP’s work to come out to our meetings. These meetings will take place every other Wednesday (non-training nights) at the City Heights Library at 6 pm. We can also use a lot of help coordinating and organizing in entirely non-mechanical way. Any way you can help, we would love to have you!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI saw somewhere online that you take old bicycle donations. I have an old bike I no longer want, how and where would I go to donate it?
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteYou can drop it off at the City Heights farmers market Saturday 9am-1pm, or at a house in City Heights by apointment by emailing one of our volunteers: clercolivier@riseup.net
